My research interest is mitochondria of parasite, which is unique characteristics different from mammalians and therefore is expected as the particular target of chemotherapy. My recent research theme was 'biochemical analysis of drug target enzyme, alternative oxidase, in Cryptosporidium parvum.'

Though the experience of my research carrier in bench-top laboratory, I realized the necessity of hands-on experience in endemic area of parasitic diseases. That's why I decided to join SATREPS project for the practical control of kala-azar in Bangladesh.

My work consists of various assignments; from the setting up our laboratory for Kala-azar in Bangladesh and to manage the surveillance project in endemic area.

I'll do my best for the elimination of this disease in cooperation with Bangladeshi people.
