I have been doing epidemiological research collaborating with the ICDDR,B since 2004. ICDDR,B is one of the world leading health research institutes and I hope this project would be a centre for Japanese scientists doing health research in Bangladesh. As an epidemiologist specially interested in health impacts of climate, climate change and other environment, my research goal is to explore health burden of Kala-azar and other NTDs due to climate change and contribute to reduce it.
